tlenter organizes the search results by “buzz” and by geographical proximity. By default, tlenter displays results and suggestions according to your interests expressed by your navigation on the website.
You can either discover our suggestions or take back control and make your own search.
Of course! tlenter is a spirited and lively project, being enhanced every day. tlenter is a project platform. Anything that would help talents, we'll try to set up.
By subscribing to tlenter, you automatically become a user. That will allow you to navigate the website, find other users' profiles, follow them and clip them on your playlist.
If you want to show what you are doing, talk and exchange on the network, be visible on the map, add media, look for angels, join communities or organize projects, you need to create a tlenter profile. Each tlenter profile gives you the opportunity to introduce one of your passions or talents. As you probably have a lot of interests, you can make as many tlenter profiles as you wish!
A tlenter profile allows you to be largely visible in the community to which you want to belong. You're starting rock climbing? By making your tlenter profile, you could organize your climbing sessions, share your plans, meet people with the same interests and discuss with them...
Well, so you're a bit shy? You think you have nothing to show? It's quite understandable, but... are you really certain? Do you like to travel? Do you enjoy artistic framing? Are you keen on gardening or cooking? Are you a Star Wars nut?
Yes, don't worry. Come as you are and we deal with everything else.
To make it easier for you, tlenter suggests four fields and a lot of different sub-categories in a drag-down menu. You can also create your own category if you consider it doesn't exist yet.
And don't worry, our search engine considers all the key words of your description. For example, if you're an actor, but only for cinema, select “actor” or “cinema” as a category, then fill your profile description in, making sure to include any key-word that will help to find you. This way anybody could find you through the search engine.
If you regret your first choice, you'll be able to change it at any time by changing your tlenter profile.
If your profile is not displayed on the home page's mosaic, it is probably for one of the following reasons:
- You've not uploaded any picture or video. Only profiles with a picture or a screenshot from a video (automatically generated by a video you post) can be displayed on the mosaic ;
- You've created the tlenter profile of a well-known personality ;
- If it's a photo or portrait of another person. If it's an artwork which is obviously not one of your own production (a famous painting or photography for example).
You have the possibility to edit your tlenter profile through the drag-down menu at the top-right of the screen. After you clicked on your name, click on Talent (blue pictogram) and you should see the list of your tlenter profiles in a sub-menu. Select the one you want to modify and click on the pen-shaped pictogram to edit it.
You can also edit it by clicking on the gear wheel directly on your profile page.
If you want some tips on how to fill in your profile the best way, take some minutes to visit the tlenter blog: http://tlenter-fr.tumblr.com
On tlenter, you can directly upload photos and videos. You can import them from Dailymotion, Youtube, Soundcloud or Viméo as well.
You also have the possibility to post links to your favorite websites.
The picture-mosaic is tlenter's home page. It's displaying a random selections of profiles according to your interests and the profiles' popularity.
It's also the easiest way to make searches on tlenter. Thanks to the bottom-left buttons, you have the possibility to display profiles according to many criteria: profile type (tlenter, angel, house), talent field or category, geographical location, key-words or interests.
Click on a profile's star and you clip it on you playlist. Then you can permanently see the latest favourite media of any profile clipped in your playlist.
By default, a playlist is displayed chronologically, starting from the first clip. You can, of course, organize your playlists as you wish to later.
Angels, house and communities
If you want to help other users with their projects, you have the possibility to create an angel profile. You can then make a donation or offer financial support, put a talent in touch with an organization or a professional contact, share freely your skills. Your angel profile is also automatically generated when you complete certain actions on the website (like participating in a crowdfunding operation or a project). You then have the possibility to customize and complete your angel profile through the drag-down menu on the top-right of the screen (by clicking on your name).
Bars, restaurants, concert halls, exhibition rooms and other establishments willing to help and support new talents, host their events and share their current developments, have the opportunity to create a house page on tlenter.
Communities allow users with a tlenter profile or an angel profile to clump together according to their common interests and to discuss between them, in a public discussion or in the private thread reserved to the members of the community.
